Well, if you know us, we wear our old fave teams logo at every gig and it is one of the top ten sports logos of all time according to tons of polls over the years. If it was up to us, it’s number one. What a special night in Bristol CT at the 2nd annual “Bring The Whalers Back” event. This all took place at a Bristol Blues Baseball game at historic Muzzy Field (Babe Ruth played there). Special guest for the evening were creator/designer of The Hartford Whaler’s logo Mr Peter Good. The man who sang the National Anthem for many years at the Whaler games Mr Tony Harrington and THE ZAMBONIS playing pre and post game. Tony joined us for our song “The Breakaway”. About 1000 people in Whalers attire showed up and it was a great event. The highlight for us was meeting and talking for quite a while to Peter Good about the origin and the red tape of the logo. An amazing story and we hope to bring it in the news in the near future. Stay tuned. Special thanks to The Whaler Guys Jerry and Peter for making the event happen.
